Enumerate the causes of unemployment in the country.

Unemployment is a phenomenon that occurs when a person who is capable of working and is actively searching for the work is unable to find work.

People who are either unfit for work due to physical reason or do not want to work are excluded from the category of unemployed

The causes of unemployment are :

1. Less labour intensive job generated.

2. Though agriculture is labour intensive but is overpopulated and unavailability of lands.

3. Most of the people do not have market-driven skills.

4. Illiteracy.
