In what ways government helping human capital formation? What are the steps taken in this direction?

Human capital is the set of skill and productive knowledge embodied in the population. The population becomes human capital when there is an investment made in the form of education, training and medical care.

Government helps in the following ways:

1. It can invest in the health sector, by providing free aid to marginal people.

2. It can boost education by opening schools that provide at least elementary education to poor kids.

3. It can provide skills to the youth that would help in maximizing output and in finding employment.

The steps were taken by the government:

1. Schemes like Ayushman Bharat provides free primary and tertiary medical facility to the people.

2. Providing free and compulsory education to children up to 14 years is the right of the children in the Indian constitution.

3. Skill Initiative empowers the youth.
