Can you imagine a world without satellites?

Sputnik 1 was the first satellite. Now many of the satellite has been launched and helping in many ways. Satellites are of different types:

*Communication satellites

*Research satellites

*Weather satellites

*Navigational satellites

Communication satellite provides a linkup of radios, telephone, television and various communication channels across the world.

Research satellites are the satellites which observe the space environment of the earth or to study the sun, stars, and gather meteorological data for scientific analysis.

A weather satellite is one of the most important instrumentation used to predict the weather.

Navigation satellites allow the operators of land vehicles, ships, and aircraft to determine their location within 100 feet anywhere on earth.

I cannot imagine a world without satellite. It is very tough for me to imagine a world without satellite because if there will be no satellite we will not able to predict the weather. Our television, telephone and communication channels will lose their network. Scientific satellites are a necessity of life on earth today. They show us what other planets look like, where to find mineral and water and they locate forest fires. Without satellites, jet air travel would be a dangerous sport and ships at sea would not be able to navigate so easily.
