Q9 of 115 Page 9

If the complement of an angle is equal to the supplement of the thrice of it. Find the measure of the angle.

Let the angle measured be x

Compliment angle = (90o – x)

Supplement angle = (180o – x)

Given that,

Supplementary of thrice of the angle = (180o – 3x)

According to question,

(90o – x) = (180o – 3x)
