In which technique do we use Taq polymerase enzyme and why?

Taq polymerase enzyme is used in Polymerase Chain reaction. It is a thermostable DNA polymerase isolated from the bacterium Thermus aquaticus. It doesn’t get denatured and remains active during the high temperature induced denaturation of double stranded DNA.
