What will happen if DNA replication is not followed by cell division in a eukaryotic cell?

If DNA replication is not followed by cell division in a eukaryotic cell it will lead to Polyploidy.That is, increase unusual no.of chromosomes in the cell, this would increase the volume of cell nucleus and thereby causing cell expansion.
