(i) Starch is a polysaccharide as it is a long chain of glucose molecules. Maltose is a disaccharide consisting of two glucose units. Fructose and glucose are monosaccharides.

(ii) The difference between α-helix and β-pleated sheet structures of protein are as follows.



(iii) Pernicious Anaemia is caused by the deficiency of Vitamin B12. It is characterized by RBCs deficient in haemoglobin. The deficiency occurs when the intestines in the human being cannot absorb enough Vitamin B12.
