Q14 of 50 Page 1

If the total surface area of a solid hemisphere is 462 cm2, find its volume. [Take π = 22/7]

Given total surface area of hemisphere = 462 cm2

We know that TSA of hemisphere = 3πr2

⇒ 3πr2 = 462

⇒ r2 = 49

⇒ r = 7

We know that volume of hemisphere

= 718.66 cm3

∴ Volume of hemisphere = 718.66 cm3
