SOLUTION:

Let A(-2, 6), B(5, 3), C(-1, -11) and D(-8, -8) are the vertices of a rectangle.

⇒ AB = CD and BC = DA.

⇒ AC = DB
Since the opposite sides and the diagonals are equal
∴ ABCD is a rectangle.
