SOLUTION:

Mid-point of the diameter is the centre of the circle. If one end of the diameter is the origin let the other end be (x, y).

We know that the midpoint of a line segment AB with A(x, y) and B(u, v) is .

⇒ Centre of the circle
Comparing we get, x = -12 and y = 8.
∴ The other end of the diameter is (-12, 8).
