In a circle of radius 21 cm, an arc subtends an angle of 60o at the centre. Find the area of sector formed by the arc.

Given:

Radius (r) = 21 cm


Angle subtended by arc (Ɵ) = 60o


We know that,







⇒ Area of the sector = 11×21


⇒ Area of the sector = 231 cm2


Hence, Area of the sector = 231 cm2
