Draw the diagram of microsporangium of an angiosperm and label any four parts. State the function of its innermost wall layer.

Microsporangium is the sac like structure located in the anther of the stamen of a flowering plant. It contains microspores or pollen grains in the microspore mother cells.



Tapetum is the innermost wall. It provides nutrition to the developing pollen grains.
