Solve Question:

If two circles with radii 8 cm and 3 cm respectively touch internally, then find the distance between their centers.

Since the circles touch each other their centers and point of contact lie on same line i.e. collinear


R1 = 8cm and R2 = 3cm


⇒ Distance between their centers = R1 - R2 = 8 – 3 = 5cm
