Explain the major reasons for the reduction in the volume of rivers?

There are many reasons for the reduction in the volume of rivers:

i. Global climate change is the major reason for the reduction.


ii. Excessive Heating of climate due to global warming.


iii. Extensive cutting of trees and deforestation due to increasing population and their needs.


iv. Less precipitation and rainfall in the flowing areas of rivers.


v. Diversion of water and construction of dams for irrigation.
