Which type of drainage pattern does an area have where hard and soft rocks exist parallel to each other.

Drainage patterns are formed by drainage basin based on the slope of the land, rock structure and climate of an area. Some different type of drainage patterns are- dendritic drainage pattern, trellis drainage pattern, rectangular drainage pattern and radial drainage pattern.

Trellis drainage pattern is formed in an area where hard and soft rocks exist parallel to each other. When tributaries enter the main river at right angles(approximately), causing a trellis-like appearance of the drainage system, therefore it is called trellis drainage pattern.
