FIND THE H.C.F OF 120, 180, 240.

H.C.F of 120, 180 and 240 is calculated by Euclid Division Lemma :

Out of 120 and 180, 180 is greater


180 = 120 × 1 + 60


120 = 60 × 1 + 0


Since the remainder is 0 so H.C.F of 120 and 180 is 60.


Similarly H.C.F of 240


240 = 60 x 4 + 0


Hence, the remainder is 0


So the H.C.F of 120,180 and 240 is 60
