Differentiate between epidermal and cork cells?

These cells occur in different parts of the plant body at different stages, and major differences between them are-

Epidermal cells-


These cells cover the entire plant body during the primary growth.


They are found When the leaves and the plants are in their primary stages and immature.


They occur as single layer cell.


They are living cell


They occur during the primary and secondary growth in plants


Cork cells-


They cover only the stem and root of the plant after secondary growth.


They occur when most of the words in the plants are grown up.


They originate from the cork cambium.


They are non living cells.


They occur only during the secondary growth.
