Given that,

Also, Mean+ Variance = 4.8


⇒np + npq = 4.8


⇒np(1+q) = 4.8


⇒5p(1+q) = 4.8


⇒5(1 - q)(1+q) = 4.8 [Since, p + q = 1]


⇒5(1 - q2) = 4.8
