Vulnerable species is a species that has been categorized by the IUCN as likely to become endangered unless the circumstances threatening its survival and reproduction is improved. Hence it faces a high risk of extinction.

Endangered species are organisms that are at risk of becoming extinct because it is either few in numbers, or is threatened by changing environmental or by predators. Also due to deforestation, there may be a lack of food and/or water. Hence it is considered to be facing a very high risk of extinction.
