Describe any six consequences of the disintegration of USSR?

Some of the consequences of the disintegration of USSR are as follows:

i. The disintegration of the Soviet Union meant the end of Cold War confrontations which demanded the end of armed forces and restoration of peace.


ii. This disintegration made the possibility to bring a multipolar system where all powers are equal and no power could dominate others.


iii. The US became the solo power.


iv. Capitalist economy became the more dominant economic system at the international level.


v. It was supported by World Bank and IMF also.


vi. This disintegration gave birth to many new countries especially the Baltic and Eastern European States.


vii. NATO (North Atlantic Treaty Organizational and European Union became very strong regional groups.
