Q1 of 28 Page 56

Answer the following questions briefly:

What is the most important lesson that history teaches us?

It is said that history teaches many a lesson to mankind, which is absolutely true. But if one has to find that one most important lesson that history teaches them, it has to be the fact that even though history doesn’t repeat itself and that we cannot blindly ape the past in finding solutions for the present, we can still at least attempt to discover the forces that move the world. We can trace patterns, understand how things have evolved, and what have been the underlying forces, and chief driving factors when it comes to some of the major incidents and happenings around the world. This is the most important lesson that history can teach us.
