Work in groups of four: One of you should act as Herbert and the other three as his friends at work.

Two of the friends are superstitious and warn Herbert about the premonition, whereas the other one is happy-go-lucky, like Herbert. They are talking about Herbert's experience the previous evening at home.

• Convince Herbert to take some precautions before it is too late.

• At the end of the conversation, write a message as Herbert to Mr. White, suggesting to him what precautions the family should take.

Herbert - Oh come on! You got to be kidding me! There's nothing supernatural as such!

Friend 1 - Looks like the machines have hit their head! Old Schools! (laughing)

Friend 2 - We warn you Herbert...

Friend 3 - I've been to India, and I know how strong their spell casting is...

F2 - They cause destruction!

(silence)

F1 - Oh come on! I don't believe...

Herbert - (obstructing) Have you had any personal experience?

F1 - What?! Herbert! No!

F3- I've seen the power of black magic. Such things should not be played with...

F1 - Stop troubling him!

F2 - We are not. Its just that we don't want him to face any harm.

F3 - Otherwise why would Sergeant Morris make false statements? Why on earth would anyone wish for death???

Herbert - Unless... he has lost everything...?

F2 - There you go!

F3 - Making a wish like this means asking for something that isn't in your fate and is not meant for you to have.

F1 - I don't believe this! People do achieve their dreams which seem impossible at first!

F2 - Only with their work.. The hard work.

Herbert - ... and not some magic...

F3 - Herbert! Trust on what your father said! Seeing faces in fire is a bad omen.. Its not cool!

F2 - I think your family needs to get rid of the paw as soon as possible.

F3 - Inform your father about it Herbert. Otherwise it might be too late.

F1 - Supernaturals is far beyond my fancy!

Herbert - Thanks pals! I need to rush! Unless its already too late...!
