What is cryopreservation? Mention how it is used in conservation of biodiversity.

Cryopreservation is the technique in which viable and fertile gametes are preserved at a freezing temperature of around

-196 degree Celsius in liquid nitrogen.


Importance of cryopreservation:


1. It is used to maintain a certain species for future.
