Shark is eurythermal while polar bear is stenothermal. What is the advantage the former has and what is the constraint the later has?



Shark, being eurythermal, is less sensitive to temperature and thus, can survive in all waters whereas polar bears, being stenothermal, are more sensitive to temperature and thus, can survive in a specific range of temperatures only. Polar bears are cryophilic animals as they can live only in low temperature.
