Identify the reason for selection of DNA polymerase from Thermus aquaticus for Polymerase Chain Reaction.

Thermus aquaticus is a bacterial species that can withstand high temperatures. Hence, DNA polymerase is extracted from Thermus aquaticus for Polymerase Chain Reaction as it is able to tolerate high temperatures during the stages of Polymerase Chain Reaction (PCR).
