Find the 10th term from the end of the A.P. .

a = 8, d = 2

Last term, an = 126


an = a + (n – 1) d


126 = 8 + (n – 1) 2


120 = 2n


n = 60


Now we have to find last 10th term, means = 60th – 9 = 51th term


Now, a51 = 8 + (51 – 1)2


= 8 + 50 * 2 = 8 + 100


= 108


Hence, 10th term from the last of given A.P. is 108
