Q9 of 94 Page 231

A cuboid having dimensions 16 m x 11 m x 8 m is melted to form a cylinder of radius 4 m. What is the height of the cylinder?

We know that,

Volume of cuboid = Length × Breadth × Height

= 16 × 11 × 8

= 1408 m3

Also,

Volume of cylinder = r2h = 1408 m3

Therefore,

h =

= 28 m

Hence, option A is correct
