The route of the blood flow: The blood flows through the afferent arteriole into the capillary network of the glomerulus that is located in the nephrons. After the filtration takes place, the blood flows out through the efferent arteriole into the renal vein.


(b) Renal artery, kidney, ureter, urinary bladder, urethra.


This is the logical sequence that any nitrogenous waste will follow. Since it is a part of the blood stream, it enters the kidney through the renal artery. After it has been processed into the urine, it is carried by the ureter to the urinary bladder from where it is expelled through the urethra.
