If you donate one kidney to a needy patient, would it cause any harm to you? Give reason.

If one kidney is donated to a needy patient, our other functioning kidney is sufficient for excretory needs and the person can lead a normal life. There is no harm in donating a single kidney, however, both malfunctioning kidney may lead to the death.
