How does Helen’s appearance in the party make Lavinia get rid of her superstitious belief in Ouija Boards?

The In the party the Ouija board symbolised John’s cheat to Lavinia and it hinted to the fact that there is a woman named Helen in his life. Lavinia was thus very anxious and was not happy during the party. She was suspecting John throughout the party through his angry narrow lids when all the other women were after him. Next morning she decides to leave the house and therefore asks John to talk to her lawyer. Then when she asks the maid, Gladolia to show her Ouija board and its use, Lavinia gets to know about Helen’s real identity. Lavinia realises that Helen is a ghost and obviously that John cannot have an affair with a ghost. Therefore Helen’s appearance in the party make Lavinia get rid of her superstitious belief in Ouija board and forgives John.
