Q19 of 26 Page 1

Answer the following question in about 100 words.

“And even now I sometimes feel the same uneasiness and disquietude.” Why does Helen speak these words? How did she come out of her uneasiness?

Helen gets that same feeling of uneasiness and disquietude when she is writing as she is scared that she might be plagiarizing someone else’s words. This is because of the charges of plagiarism that were brought against her. She was devastated because of Michael’s effort to distance himself from her. To get over this feeling of uneasiness, she visits the Niagara Falls and the World fair. Both these places help her feel better and come out of her disquietude.
