Find median size of farms.

First we find the total number of farms.

Total farms = 7 + 12 + 17 + 25 + 31 + 5 + 3 = 100


Now, total/2 = 100/2 = 50


Now we calculate the cumulative frequencies:



As total number/2 = 50.


The median class is 35 - 45.


l = 35, h = 45 - 35 = 10, cf = 36, f = 25
