Glomerular filtration occurs in the Bowman’s capsule through the glomerulus. The glomerular filtrate then passes through the proximal convoluted tubule where reabsorption occurs. It then continues down the loop of Henle into the distal convoluted tubule where secretion of inorganic components takes place.
