Find the zeros of the following quadratic polynomials:

p(x) = 6x2 — 11x + 5

Here p(x) = 6x2 — 11x + 5


To find the zeros of p(x), let p(x) = 0


∴6x2 — 11x + 5 = 0


∴ 6x2 – 6x – 5x + 5 = 0


∴ 6x(x – 1) – 5(x – 5) = 0


∴ (x – 1)(6x – 5) = 0


∴ x = 1 or x =


⇒ 1 and are the zeros of the quadratic polynomial p(x).
