Let Present age of Ahmed be x. ⇒ Age of his father is 3x


After 12 years, their ages will be x + 12 & 3x + 12


3x + 12 = 2(x + 12)


⇒ x = 12


The Present Ages of Ahmed and his father are 12 and 36 respectively.
