A person buys 25 pens worth 250, each of equal cost. He wants to keep 5 pens for himself and sell the remaining to recover his money. What should be the price of each pen?

He will sell = 25 – 5 = 20


According to problem,


Selling price of 20 pens = 250


∴ Selling price of each pen = 250/20 = 12.5
