Let the Present age of Bindu be x. ⇒ Present age of Mrs. Joseph is x + 27


After 8 years, their ages are x + 8 & x + 35


x + 35 = 2 (x + 8)


⇒ x = 35 - 16 = 19


The Present ages of Bindu and Mrs. Joseph are 19 and 46 respectively.
