What are the major factors which affect the monsoon winds?

i. Himalayan Mountains blocks the monsoon winds from Central Asia.


ii. Differential heating of land and sea plays a major role which affects the monsoon winds.


iii. Landmass gets heated at a faster rate than sea which forms a low-pressure zone in the landmass i.e. the Inter-Tropical Convergence Zone.


iv. The shift of easterlies and upper-level Jetstream in north direction also affect the monsoon winds.
