Q2 of 21 Page 43

Read the extracts and answer the questions that follow:

"If a young man has trained his muscles and physical endurance by gymnastics and walking, he will later be fitted for every physical work" (para 15). In what context does the renowned scientist make this statement? What is his opinion on the issue?

According to Einstein, if a young man has trained his muscles by gymnastics and walking he will be later fitted for every physical work means he will not have to work further on his skills as he has already gained the actual knowledge. In the same way, this is also analogous to the training of the mind and the exercising of the mental and manual skill. Thus the wit was not wrong who defined education in this way that one should get trained and remember actual and necessary details for a long time.
