Define fundamental rights. How many fundamental rights are mentioned in our Constitution?

In a democratic country like India, some rights are mentioned in the Constitution. Fundamental rights can be defined as the rights which are fundamental or important to our life and thus receive a special status in the Constitution. There are six fundamental rights mentioned in our constitution. The following are the fundamental rights specified in our constitution:


a. Right to Equality


b. Right to Freedom of Speech and Expression


c. Right against Exploitation


d. Right to freedom of Religion


e. Cultural and Educational Rights and


f. Right to Constitutional Remedies.
