Crop cultivations depend on factors due to which the area of cultivable land changes every year. These factors includes: rainfall, availability of water, weather and market prices.

If there is sufficient rain at right intervals then the area of cultivable land increases and therefore the crop cultivation boosts up. If the source of water supply is reliable then the crop cultivation also increases. If the market price of some crops is high then the crop cultivation is made faster so that it can be sold and profits can be earned.
