Why are some organisms called as eurythermals and some others as stenohaline?

For aquatic organisms, the quality of water (chemical composition, pH) is very important.


The organisms which can tolerate a wide range of salinities are called eurythermals and the organisms which can tolerate only narrow range of salinities are called stenohaline.
