Write the functions of acrosome and the middle piece of a human sperm.

The function of acrosome is to penetrate the outer layers of egg cell due to the presence of enzymes like hyaluronidase and due to presence of pointed apex.

The function of middle piece is to provide energy to the sperm for its other functions and movement due to the presence of mitochondria (the power house of cell) in it.
