Name the body part of humans that is infected by Ascaris. How is the parasite transmitted to a healthy person?

Ascaris infects the small intestine of humans .

It is transmitted via feco-oral route. Ascaris releases its eggs from the body of infected person via feces and the eggs infect other people when they ingest either uncooked and contaminated food or by ingestion of contaminated soil(more common in small children).
