Find the area of the triangle whose base measures 24 cm and the corresponding height measures 14.5 cm.

Given: Base = 24 cm


Height = 14.5 cm



We know that,


Area of a triangle = 1/2 × Base × Height


= 1/2 × 24 cm × 14.5 cm


= 174 cm2
