What did the sculptor want to portray through the statue of Ozymandias?

The sculptor was a skilled artisan. He sculpted statues with minute precision. He wanted to portray the negative charactersitics of Ozymandias. Through his statue of Ozymandias, the sculptor portrayed the king’s arrogance, ego and conceit. Contrarily, the king wished to immortalise himself through his statue. The facial expression of the king sculpted, portrayed him as a despot. The king’s intention was defeated. The sculptor believed that nobody could conquer time, no matter how mighty a ruler he was.
