Q84 of 128 Page 224

Simplify

(ab - c)2 + 2abc

The given expression is

(ab - c)2 + 2abc

= (ab)2-2(ab)(c) + (c)2 + 2abc

= a2b2-2abc + c2 + 2abc

= a2b2 + c2

Therefore, (ab - c)2 + 2abc = a2b2 + c2
