Now when we compare these expressions with the identities, we

find it in the form of (a-b)(a + b),where a = m² and b = n²,

The identity (a-b)(a + b) = a²-b²,

Hence, (m² – n²) (m² + n²) = (m²)²-(n²)² = m⁴-n⁴
