Find the area and perimeter of the sector with

radius 55 cm and arc length 80 cm.

Given:

radius (r) = 55 cm


Arc length (a) = 80cm


area of sector = ?


perimeter of sector = ?


As we know,


(a) Area of sector =



⇒ area of sector = 2200 cm2


(b) perimeter of sector = r + r + length of arc


= 2 ( r) + length of arc


= 2(55) + 80


= 110 + 80 = 190cm
