Examine the concept of ‘Regional Planning’.

The economic development of a country is not uniform in all its regions. Some regions are well developed whereas some regions are poorly developed. This is called regional imbalance in development. There is a need to devise some plans to develop these underdeveloped regions to have uniform regional development. This is called Regional Planning.
